Fionn Films

Sci-Spy is delighted to include a selection of the FIONN science films here on our website. These films were produced by 35 primary schools in Co. Galway as part of the FIONN Science Project coordinated by Galway Education Centre which ran from 2001-2005.

The children, teachers and experts involved in the FIONN Science Project should all be congratulated for the wonderful resources they’ve created.

Their films cover a whole range of science topics and often involve children working with local experts or investigating their local areas and heritage. They show us that science is happening all around us in our everyday lives and that it can be interesting and fun to explore and investigate it.

Additional Information about FIONN
